BTS INSTALLATION

Activity includes the installation, commissioning and integration of sites

Detailed Scope for installation, commissioning and integration of BTSs:

• Installation of indoor and outdoor Base station cabinets.
• Installation and internal cabinet cabling of plug-in units, TRX units, power supply, baseband, etc.
• Installation of ground cable and DC power cable from power system to BTS cabinet with fixing accessories (cable ties), labels and connectors (shoes).
• Installation and testing of alarm cable with fixing accessories (cable ties), labels and connectors up to the existing Krone alarm panel.
• Installation of labels for DC breakers.
• Installation of integrated transmission plug-in unit (E1) and cabling (2 * E1) to existing DDF panel.
• Installation and commissioning of antenna and feeder line
• Commissioning of the base station.
• Integration of BTS.

INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING OF Microwave Radio Links
Microwave links consist of antenna at each end with integrated radio unit in the BTS at each end.

INSTALLATION AND COMMISIONING OF BSC

Scope

• Installation of BSC racks.
• Installation of grounding cable with fixing accessories (cable ties), labels and connectors
• Installation of DC power cable with fixing accessories (cable ties), labels and connectors
• Installation of an external alarms cable with fixing accessories (cable ties), labels and connectors to MDF.
• Installation of 120 ohm PCM cable (40 * E1) with fixing accessories and labels to IDDF.
• Installation of 75ohm PCM cable (16 * E1) with fixing accessories and labels to DDF.
• Installation of DDF floor mounted frame for E1s.
• Installation of an analogue X.25 cable with fixing accessories (cable ties), labels and connectors up to the defined length.
• Installation of labels for the grounding termination point, DC power breakers, DDF panels.
• Installation and testing of clock synchronization cable with fixing accessories (cable ties), labels and connectors.
• Cutting of computer floor tiles and dressing cut edges with suitable edging material or/and installing cable flanges (if applicable).
• Installation (insertion) of plug-in units as delivered for the BSC configuration.
• Install and label LAN cabling to IP backbone.

INSTALLATION OF TCSM (TRANSCODER)

Scope

• Installation of the TCSM cabinets on the floor.
• Installation and labeling of grounding cable with fixing accessories (cable ties), labels and connectors.
• Installation and labeling of DC power cable with fixing accessories (cable ties), labels and connectors.
• Cutting of computer floor tiles and dressing cut edges with suitable edging material or/and installing cable flanges (if applicable).
• Installation (insertion) of plug-in units as delivered for the TCSM configuration.
• Installation and labeling of 75 ohm PCM cable (64 * E1) with fixing accessories and labels to the DDF.

INSTALLATION OF UMTS

• Measurement of Antenna VSWR, assembly, installation, alignment and tilt.
• Installation of grounding cables for feeders and antennas  with fixing accessories (cable ties), labels and connectors
• Installation of indoor and outdoor Base station cabinets.
• Installation and internal cabinet cabling of plug-in units, TRX units, power supply, baseband, etc.
•  Installation of ground cable and DC power cable from power system to BTS cabinet with fixing accessories (cable ties), labels and connectors (shoes).
• Interconnection of the TREs and the ANCs.
